I was lucky enough to catch this annular solar eclipse from the boardwalk at Sunken Meadow State Park LI, NY.

I have photographed many sunrises but when 2 horns poked up above the horizon instead of a round disc it was an incredible sight.

This a 2 shot composite of 2 large open star clusters known as The Double Cluster. Taken with a Celestron 6SE telescope & a modified Canon 7D
